M. Ali Babar

M. Ali Babar is a Professor in the School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide. He is an honorary visiting professor at the Software Institute, Nanjing University, China. He has authored/co-authored more than 220 peer-reviewed papers in premier Software Technology journals and conferences. With an H-Index 46, the level of citations to his publications is among the leading Software Engineering researchers in Aus/NZ. At the University of Adelaide, Professor Babar has established an (https://crest-centre.net) interdisciplinary research centre, CREST - Centre for Research on Engineering Software Technologies , where he leads the research and research training of more than 20 members. He has been involved in attracting several millions of dollar worth of research resources over the last ten years. Prof Babar leads the University of Adelaide’s participation in the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (https://cybersecuritycrc.org.au ), one of the largest Cyber Security initiative the Australasian region. Within the CSCRC, he leads the theme on Platforms and Architectures for Cyber Security solutions as service.

Mingyu Guo

Dr Mingyu Guo is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide. His research areas are algorithmic game theory and multiagent systems. He is interested in the application of game theory to cybersecurity domains, such as bug bounty systems, markets on blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.

Chelsea Liu

Dr Chelsea Liu is an Associate Professor at The University of Adelaide Business School and previously worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. Chelsea has a PhD in Business, a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, among other degrees in law, commerce, and education. Chelsea is a Deputy Editor of the Australian Journal of Management, Executive Editor of the Review of Corporate Finance, Editor of Pacific Accounting Review, and Associate Editor of Journal of Industrial and Business Economics. Chelsea’s research has been published in leading academic journals worldwide, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, and Journal of Business Ethics, among others. Chelsea’s research on climate finance, corporate governance, and cybersecurity benefits from her industry qualification as a solicitor and barrister in the High Court of Australia and her experience of working in commercial law firms prior to joining academia.

Faheem is a member of Centre for Research on Engineering Software Technologies (CREST) where he works on projects lying at the intersection of big data anlaytics, cyber security, and cloud computing. Faheem obtained PhD degree from the University of Adelaide, where he worked under the supervison of Prof. Ali Babar. During his PhD, Faheem worked on the quality-centric design and evaluation of big data cyber security analytics systems. Currently, Faheem's research primarily focuses on implementing and evaluating big data analytics frameworks and big data storage solutions, developing software threat models, and automaticalling tuning big data analytics systems.
